We used this storage facility for 2 months (July-August)and left with moldy possessions. We had to store our furniture and some boxes as we were between houses.

When the movers began moving our items out of Public Storage, they said there was some mold on some of our things. When we were able to look more closely at our items, there was gross mold on our snack tables and laundry baskets (and who knows where else). Only after 2 months! This is disgusting.

When I contacted the company, they said since our insurance wasn't through them (we have home owner's) they couldn't do anything. How are they not responsible for their own facility?

See gross pics below regarding damage and the inside of the storage unit after our possessions were removed. Shameful customer service!

After reading your lease, you will have all your answers on why they are not responsible. You will have to file a claim with your homeowners or rental insurance.
