Big Timber facility.Elgin, IL

unit door is currently blocked by snow and ice.

This has happened all winter and for days and weeks at a time have not been able to access the unit. Office says they will get snow removed, then they never do. Asked for a refund or discount since they said they would take care of it, and all I got was a late fee for paying a day late in advance for the first time in almost a year. This place sucks.

The office people suck. The picture attached is from today 3/24/15 and I cannot access.

Never will I use public storage again.Ripoff and *** people working in the office.

Conveniently injur yourself while trying to access your unit. Call an ambulance and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. They pay, and then will NEVER AGAIN mess up handling the lawful snow removal required to access your unit.

It obviously looks like the place was plowed. They did their part, you are responsible for digging your door out, not the office workers.

There is not that much snow there, it wouldn't have taken you that long to clear it out and they probably would have let you use their shovel. Do you really think it's reasonable to expect the person in the office to come out and dig out hundreds of doors?

Or do you think you're special and they should dig yours out?Be thankful it wasn't 3 inches of ice like I had, which the very wonderful manager where I rent spent hours chipping away for me when she didn't have to.

Doesn't look like enough snow to "block" access to me. You must be from the south where a few inches of snow stops traffic.
