Public Storage ruined me and my kids life. I went thru a verybad domestic situation and was forced to put allmy belongings in storage in 7/15 and go into a safe haven with and my children. In 4/2016 I moved into a house and had planned on retrieving our things from storage. Every thing is still the same, Nothing has changed. I will not except that 2 cent offer that was offered. Public BEWARE OF PUBLIC STORAGE. THEY WILL GIVE YOU A HARD FIGHT SO YOU CAN DROP YOUR CASE. Frustrating I called Blue Heron office to get my payment amount July 5 DUE TO YET ANOTHER PRICE INCREASE. No one bothered to return my call. So I dropped a check in door mail drop. Wrong amount and was charged a late fee. Called to discuss late fee with Military trail PBG office, again no one returned my call I had to call back. I tried calling Blue Heron again could not get to a human being. FED UP. Read more

I rented a large unit (twice the size of a regular unit, maybe the size of a 2-car garage) for $275/month for 6 months. Without warning, our rent increased to $320/month. We called the local number and they said a notice was sent to our old address and returned to sender, so we obviously did not receive it. After paying in full for the month of 6/2016 and giving 2 week notice, I found that my gate code no longer worked on the 24th and 25th. The office manually let me in and out until the evening of the 25th. Christine in the office promised to come to my unit with a new code before she left if she was not able to fix my code. Worst experience ever!!! Double billed me for a month and made me pay in order to get my stuff out. The district manager is completely useless. I ended up having to file a complaint with the BBB. If that doesnt reaolve the issue, i will be heading to court.

My storage unit lock was cut off and the storage manager call me and told me that my unit had been open for 3 days and when I came to check for all my items, my flat screen tv was missing and my mattress had mold on them. I filed a claim and I was told by the claims adjuster that the only way that my mattress will be covered is if there was a leakage in the storage unit. In May 2016 my bill was $128 in June 2016 it was $136 now I am looking at July 2016 bill and it is saying $146.91!!!! I pay my bill at least 2 days before it is due and have had this unit for four years. These people are criminals!
